Summer Library Program

This year the library is opening up its June programs to students of all ages! Younger groups will meet in the morning and older students will meet in the afternoon according to the schedule below. Some new features will be fun games like “Charades” and improvisational acting workshops for the older students. This year there is no requirement to keep records and charts of reading times in order for kids to receive incentive gifts. Rewards will generally be based on books checked out and will be distributed at the time of book returns.

TO REGISTER FOR THE PROGRAM YOU CAN FILL IN THE GOOGLE FORM IN THIS LINK AND PRESS “SUBMIT” AT THE BOTTOM: REGISTRATION FORM HERE

OR PICK UP A REGISTRATION BROCHURE AT THE LIBRARY or SCHOOL.

YOU CAN ALSO DOWNLOAD THE FORM BELOW BY PLACING YOUR CURSOR ANYWHERE ON THE FORM, RIGHT-CLICK ON THE MOUSE AND “SAVE IMAGE AS” A FILE. THEN PRINT, FILL OUT, AND RETURN TO THE LIBRARY IN PERSON, BY MAIL, OR AS AN ATTACHMENT TO AN E-MAIL SENT TO US AT: WAKLIB@RURALTEL.NET

Our KICK OFF PARTY this year will be a performance of “TARZAN” by Brett Crandall. You may remember Brett did a fantastic puppet show of Charles Dickens’ “A Christmas Carol” for us last December. The “TARZAN” show will help us celebrate our new interior decoration of the Children’s Library with a Safari Theme.
