Last Saturday WaKeeney had the 75th annual Christmas Tree Lighting! A favorite tradition for us here in our small town. To celebrate, the library had a make your own ornament craft available for anyone who wanted to come make one, as well as a hot chocolate bar. Perfect for the frigid temperatures we had Saturday!
Later in the afternoon, we had a Jammin’ Randy Christmas Concert! Always a crowd favorite. So fun to get up and dance around to some original Jammin’ Randy songs, and some classic Christmas songs!
A big thank you to everyone who came and participated in the Tree Lighting events! We had so much fun and look forward to it every year! Stop by the library if you still want to make your own scrabble letter ornaments!
